Margaret Ann Dorsett, age 76 of Northfield, passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 31, 2018 with her loving family by her side. Margaret Ann Doll Dorsett was born September 1, 1941, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to George and Margaret (Nolan) Doll. Following her education she worked at Bell Telephone Company when she met the love of her life. Margaret Ann Dorsett, age 76 of Northfield, passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 31, 2018 with her loving family by her side.

Margaret Ann Doll Dorsett was born September 1, 1941, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to George and Margaret (Nolan) Doll. Following her education she worked at Bell Telephone Company when she met the love of her life. On May 11, 1963, Margaret married James Dorsett Jr. After marriage they made their home in the Philadelphia area before moving to York, PA in 1972. In 1984 they moved to Florida, finally settling in their dream home in the Tampa area. After her loving husband, James, passed away in May 2005 Margaret remained in the Tampa area until moving to Northfield, Minnesota, in 2013. Margaret loved gardening, playing tennis, and spending time with her grandchildren. Margaret also loved going to open houses on Sundays and was a champion at Ms. Pac Man. As a mother, wife & grandmother, she was selfless in her quest to care for the family she created and worked hard to make every occasion and holiday special for her family.

Survivors include her children James Dorsett III of New Port Richey, FL, Tracy (Gregg) Giza of Northfield, Kimberly Dorsett of Winter Springs, FL, Amy Dorsett of Northfield, Christina Dorsett of Northfield; 8 grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her brothers Albert and George Doll.

Margaret will be interred with her husband at Trinity Memorial Park in Trinity, Florida. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
