My condolences to the Felton family. Mrs. Felton was my second grade teacher; the last year she taught in Waukon. She was a wonderful woman and teacher; I loved being in her class. One class day she called me out for humming loudly (pretty sure it was to ‘Little Mermaid'”. I thought she was so incredibly smart to know it was me who was humming! I have no doubt she left a positive lasting impression on hundreds of children and left a wonderful legacy.
