She graduated from Northfield High School in 1966. In July 1967, Judy married Dennis Edwardsen at St. Dominic. After marriage they made their home in Rochester until 1974, when they returned to Northfield. They later divorced. Judy worked for several years at Northwestern State Bank and it’s predecessor Norwest Bank, and for a short time at the Rice County Abstract Office. In 1986, she took a position at American Residential Mortgage in Maplewood and in 1992 she moved to North St. Paul. She remained with American Residential for 22 years, retiring in 2008, and returning to Northfield.

Judy enjoyed quilting, antiquing, gardening and reading. Above all, she loved her family dearly and her family will long feel the sadness of her sudden and unexpected death. She was generous, funny, easygoing and had a warm and inviting personality. She will be greatly missed.

  1. Jackie, Jared & families:

I was totally shocked when I received the news about your Mother. I had been trying to reach out to her recently, but did not have her new phone number. I have missed having her in my life for the past few years, over something so silly. And now I regret not pushing things so much sooner. Your Mother was my best friend, she was an amazing lady and I will sorely miss her more than ever. The world lost a little bit of light when her star when out. Her personality burned so bright once you got to know the true Judy. Hugs to all of you, my thoughts and prayers go out to each of you individually.
    Love, Loretta Yerbich Aymond
