Timothy Krenz, age 57 of Lakeville, passed away with his family by his side on Sunday morning, December 31, 2017, in Edina, Minnesota, following an extended illness. Timothy Peter Krenz was born December 11, 1961, in Owatonna, Minnesota, to John and Betty (Vosburgh) Krenz. He was raised in Rochester and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1981. Timothy Krenz, age 57 of Lakeville, passed away with his family by his side on Sunday morning, December 31, 2017, in Edina, Minnesota, following an extended illness.

Timothy Peter Krenz was born December 11, 1961, in Owatonna, Minnesota, to John and Betty (Vosburgh) Krenz. He was raised in Rochester and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1981. Tim received his BA from Augsburg College in Business Administration and began working for EDS. He married Sally Dean on May 12, 1990. Over the years they lived in Minneapolis, Detroit, Dallas and Lakeville as Tim’s career involved working for EDS, Target Corporation, Ecolab, and Trexin Consulting. Tim and Sally divorced in 2015. Tim was an active member of Christiania Lutheran Church. He enjoyed classic cars, classic rock, and spending time on the water. He was kind, sometimes “goofy”, had a great sense of humor, and loved his children dearly.

Survivors include his children Eric, Alexandra and Clarissa; his father Jack of Apple Valley; his brother Scott (Gayle) of Chicago; his sister Jody (Daniel) Marvin of Maple Grove; six nieces and nephews Catherine (Allen), Brian, Gordon, Tyler, Jared and Jaclyn; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother on March 22, 2017.

Services will be held at 4PM, Friday, January 5, 2018, at Christiania Lutheran Church, 26691 Pillsbury Avenue, rural Lakeville. Visitation will begin at 3PM and will continue after the service. Interment will be this Spring in Forest Hill Cemetery, Owatonna.
