Phil went on to work for Owatonna Security Bank followed by Norwest Bank in Hastings and after 2 years transferred to the Northfield Norwest branch. After many years in the banking industry Phil switched his career to the automotive industry where he was a successful car salesman and ultimately ended up managing Furlong Motors in Northfield and Mahowald Motors in New Prague until his retirement.

He was an avid outdoorsman, loved hunting, fishing, bowling, and wouldn’t turn down a round of golf. His grandchildren’s favorite memories included trips to Duluth, camping, his visits to Omaha, and driving 4-wheelers on the farm.

I want to express my sincere sympathy for the loss of your loved one and share the hope promised in the Bible.
“…..Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” (Revelation 21: 3 & 4)
