Mary Frances (Ouellette) Bly born June 16, 1927 to Adelard Ouellette and Jesse Farnsworth Ouellette in Pepperell, MA passed away March 11, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband Haldor Bly, her parents, a sister, Agnes Ouellette Homoleski, and her son Richard Bly. Mary Frances (Ouellette) Bly born June 16, 1927 to Adelard Ouellette and Jesse Farnsworth Ouellette in Pepperell, MA passed away March 11, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband Haldor Bly, her parents, a sister, Agnes Ouellette Homoleski, and her son Richard Bly. Mary grew up in Brookline, New Hampshire and came to Northfield in 1945 to attend St. Olaf College where she met her husband, Haldor. After his death, she worked as a waitress and long term care worker. Since then she has lived in Austin, MN, Arizona, New York City and Los Angeles returning to Northfield in 2012. Always passionate about dance and acting she pursued these interests later in life. Acted in New York and in Los Angeles joined an acting troop, Hollywood Legends. At the age of 81 tapped danced on “Americas got talent.”

Since her return she lived at Northfield Retirement Center Community until her death. Mary is survived by a son David and daughter Marjorie, and two grandchildren, Gareth Bly and Julia Bly. A memorial service will be 2:00P.M., Saturday, April 7, 2018, at the Northfield Retirement Center Chapel with reception to follow. Memorials are preferred to Northfield Retirement Community.

    Sorry to see this. Mary was fondly remembered by her cousins back in New Hampshire, especially when someone caught her in a television ad!
