LouAnn Huemoeller, age 64 of Fairbault, formerly of Burnsville, passed away Wednesday morning, January 3, 2018, following an extended battle with Lewy Body Dementia. LouAnn Gertrude Hilgers Huemoeller was born September 16, 1953, in Watertown, Minnesota, to August “Pete” and Evelyn “Amy” (Weinzierl) Hilgers. She was raised in St. Bonifacious and graduated from Waconia High School in 1971. On October 11, 1986, Lou married Fred Huemoeller in Minneapolis. After marriage they made their home in Burnsville. LouAnn Huemoeller, age 64 of Fairbault, formerly of Burnsville, passed away Wednesday morning, January 3, 2018, following an extended battle with Lewy Body Dementia.

LouAnn Gertrude Hilgers Huemoeller was born September 16, 1953, in Watertown, Minnesota, to August “Pete” and Evelyn “Amy” (Weinzierl) Hilgers. She was raised in St. Bonifacious and graduated from Waconia High School in 1971.

On October 11, 1986, Lou married Fred Huemoeller in Minneapolis. After marriage they made their home in Burnsville. Lou was a longtime employee of General Dynamics (formerly Control Data.) She enjoyed gardening, the North Shore and Abdallah Chocolate! She was kind, giving, meticulous, silly and always very loving.

Survivors include her husband Fred; her children Patti (David) Kemper of Woodbury, Karen (Jamey) Pauly of St. Peter, Justin (Joel Bowe) of Burnsville; her grandchildren Andrew, Nicholas and Aimee Kemper, Nathan and Autumn Pauly; her great-granddaughter, Elizabeth; her brother Donald (Mary Lou) Hilgers of St. Bonifacious; other relatives and friends.

Services will be 11AM, Thursday, January 11, 2018, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 500 W. 3rd Street, Northfield. Visitation will be one hour prior and a reception will follow.

    Oh Fred I loved getting hugs from Lou when we passed each other at Kingsley Shores
    I’m honored to have known her, even as she struggled with her illness.
