Judy Narhi, age 69 of Northfield, passed away at home with her husband and daughters by her side on Thursday morning, September 5, 2019. Judith Marie Narhi was born July 25, 1950, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Howard and Marie (Parsons) Lord. She was raised in Stoughton and Cape Cod, and graduated from Stoughton High School in 1968. Judy Narhi, age 69 of Northfield, passed away at home with her husband and daughters by her side on Thursday morning, September 5, 2019.

Judith Marie Narhi was born July 25, 1950, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Howard and Marie (Parsons) Lord. She was raised in Stoughton and Cape Cod, and graduated from Stoughton High School in 1968. She attended Dean College in Franklin, MA where she received her AA in Sociology. After her education she worked for New England Telephone.

On May 19, 1979, Judy married Larry Narhi in Falmouth, MA. After marriage she stayed at home until their daughters were in high school. When Judy re-entered the work force, she spent 10 years with Acosta Sales and Marketing in customer service. She served on the Nashoba Regional School District committee for 20 years. Judy and Larry retired to Northfield, MN in 2010. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church and was actively involved with women’s ministry and she also served as Treasurer for the AAUW.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Larry; her daughters, Laura of Minneapolis, Sarah of Brooklyn, New York; her half-brothers, George and David Lord; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be 11:00AM, Monday, September 9, 2019, at Bethel Lutheran Church, 1321 North Avenue, Northfield. Visitation will be one hour prior and a reception will follow.

Memorials are preferred to the Foundation Fighting Blindness or the Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary specifically directed to the retinal disease Retinitis Pigmentosa.
