Dallas Denison, age 79 of rural Dundas, passed away with his wife and family by his side at District One Hospital in Faribault, Minnesota, on Monday evening, July 29, 2019. Dallas Don Denison was born September 10, 1939, in Buffalo City, Wisconsin, to Donald I. and Lucy (Regeth) Denison. He was raised near Alma, Wisconsin, and in 1956, moved with his family to Dundas. Dallas Denison, age 79 of rural Dundas, passed away with his wife and family by his side at District One Hospital in Faribault, Minnesota, on Monday evening, July 29, 2019.

Dallas Don Denison was born September 10, 1939, in Buffalo City, Wisconsin, to Donald I. and Lucy (Regeth) Denison. He was raised near Alma, Wisconsin, and in 1956, moved with his family to Dundas. He worked at Lincoln Lumber and Denrick’s Pool Company. On July 9, 1960, Dallas married Mary Breckenridge at Little Prairie United Methodist Church. After marriage he worked for Breckenridge Trucking for 18 years, Fairway Foods until it closed, and Jim Gleason Trucking until he retired.

Dallas enjoyed coon hunting. He could fabricate almost anything from metal and was known for making miniature trucks, tractors and other equipment. Dallas, along with Mary & Pam, traveled with their pony to many shows in various states. They enjoyed Blue Grass music and as a family attended Blue Grass and country music shows throughout the country. He very much loved and adored his wife, children, grand and great-grandchildren.

Survivors includes his wife of 59 years, Mary, his daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Todd Quinnell of Dundas; his grandchildren Mitchell (wife Rachel) and Becca (significant other Ryan Blake), his great-granddaughter, Mila; his sisters, Evelyn Drentlaw of Northfield, Cynthia Tuma of Northfield, Karlyn (Jerry) Harshman of Colfax, Wisconsin, Janeil (Mike) Olson of Lake City; his brothers, Keith of St. Paul, Randy (Valerie) of Northfield; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his infant son Brian, his grandson Jake, his sister Kathy, and his parents.

Interment will take place in Groveland Cemetery, Dundas, at a later date.
