Audrey Pleschourt, age 76 of Northfield, passed away Thursday morning, April 18, 2019, at New Perspective – Faribault. Audrey Jean Pleschourt was born April 7, 1943, in Northfield, Minnesota, to Franklin and Myrtle (Thielbar) Rahman. Audrey Pleschourt, age 76 of Northfield, passed away Thursday morning, April 18, 2019, at New Perspective – Faribault.

Audrey Jean Pleschourt was born April 7, 1943, in Northfield, Minnesota, to Franklin and Myrtle (Thielbar) Rahman. She was raised in the Northfield/Dundas area and graduated from Northfield High School in 1962. On April 27, 1963, Audrey married Allen E. Pleschourt at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Northfield. Before and after marriage she worked at Hughes and Heckler Hardware Store and Frigies Café. After the birth of her three son’s and after several years of staying home with her boys, Audrey returned to work in food service at St. Olaf College, later working in dietary at the Northfield Hospital for over 15 years.

Audrey was a longtime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and was one of the pillars of the Catering Committee. She was also active with the Faribault Eagle’s Auxiliary and the Northfield VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, gardening, and spending time at the cabin.

Audrey was generous, caring, and had a servants heart. She loved and cared for her family and many others throughout her lifetime, always sharing her unconditional love.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Allen; 3 sons, Brian (Lois) of Dundas, Earl (Michelle) of Medford, Brice (Tracy) of Lakeville; 7 grandchildren, Jacob, Hunter, Brittany (Derek Jones), Breea (Paris Hare), Blake, Griffin and Gracie; 4 great-grandchildren, Brynlee, Carter, Kaliyah and Milo; her siblings, Gordy Rahman, Jerry Rahman, Calvin (Louise) Rahman, Joanne (Steven) Lawrence, Kay Rahman, Nancy (Mike) Lucast, Mona (Robert) Johannson, Alvin Rahman, Marvin (Christy) Rahman; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Emma, and her brothers Arnie, Keith and Don Rahman and sister in law, Virginia.

Services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Northfield. Visitation will be 4-7 PM, with a VFW Auxilary Prayer Service at 6:00 PM, on Monday, April 29, 2019, at the Benson & Langehough Funeral Home. Visitation will continue at the church on Tuesday one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Meadow Ridge Cemetery, Faribault.

      Audrey was such a wonderful person and so caring she was a huge part to our community. She always was helping others and had such a good positive attitude. I will miss seeing her very much. We are all so very saddened by this at New Perspective our hearts and healing prayers go out to her husband and family. Rest In Peace Audrey We all Loved you and will never forget you.

    Audrey was one of my favorite cousin of mine. She just simply has class,great class! Add to that the tremendous concern she had for others, and you have a lady that through her example taught others what the Good Lord wants us to be.
