What a gentle spirit this woman has always been. Whenever I would see Alyce at church or any function, I knew I would feel welcomed if I sat down beside her. I was always met with a warm smile & I was immediately drawn into conversation. We loved that both of our names was spelled with a “y”, and agreed that it made us feel a kinship. As I read her obituary containing the names of each & every one of you who knew & loved her best, my heart goes out to you for your great loss. My prayers for you are that your many memories of this true gem will soon squeeze out the sorrow that undoubtedly encompasses you now. Alyce has found a new home in heaven & in our hearts where her smile will continue to live forever. And it’s comforting to know that GOD HAS WIPED AWAY EVERY TEAR FROM HER EYES. THERE IS NO MORE DEATH OR MOURNING OR CRYING OR PAIN, FOR THE OLD ORDER OF THINGS HAS PASSED AWAY. ( REVELATION 21:4 )
