To Dottie’s family, I was Dottie’s neighbor for many year in West Lafayette, Ind. Have been present for a number of birthday dinners
for her Mom,Francis and a few for Dottie. Dottie was a great neighbor and was such fun to be around. My husband and kids remember Dottie for her great Christmas gift-“HOMEMADE SODA BREAD”
When Dottie would bring the bread over, the kids would yell,”Get the toaster out Dottie is coming!!! They still remember this to this day!!! Dottie has always been missed by my family since she moved to Minn. I’m sure she will be greatly missed by family and friends there. Dottie sleep in peace, you made the world a better place. • Dear Ann and family,
Thank you for your lovely thoughts and memories. I tried to email you a few time when mom got sick but they bounced back. I’m sorry that you found out through the papers. Give everyone a hug for me. She loved you all a lot. Mom was only sick for a few months. And even then she was smiling and laughing a lot. She will be missed – she already is. The burial will be in the Lebanon Cemetery in Jasonville on 6 October at 11:00. We didn’t have the time set in time to get it in the paper.
      Love, Janet

    Family of Dottie,
Our family enjoyed being neighbors with Dottie for a number of years. She started me in watching and feeding humming birds in our backyard. She wouls call me in the spring and ask me if I had my bird feeder out yet. My son Mike would help her with yard work. We all send our condolences. May God’s peace be with your family and may Dottie rest in eternal peace in heaven.
